[10-03-2025] 29-Year-Old Man Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Pacific Coast Highway Near Point MuguA 29-year-old man from Oxnard was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Pacific Coast Highway near Point Mugu in Ventura County, on Friday night, October 3, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, authorities received reports of a traffic accident blocking lanes shortly after 10:00 p.m. 

The victim was found on the ground and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash involved a Hyundai Elantra driven by the 29-year-old, a southbound Acura TSX driven by a 23-year-old male, and a northbound Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 38-year-old female.

The Hyundai crossed into the southbound lane, striking the Acura. The Tahoe then struck the Acura after its initial impact with the Hyundai. The 23-year-old male suffered major injuries and was taken to Ventura County Medical Center, while the 38-year-old driver was not injured. Alcohol and drugs were ruled out as factors, and no arrests were made.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
