A female pedestrian was airlifted to a trauma center following a collision with a vehicle in Hesperia on Tuesday night, October 1, 2024.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Bear Valley Road, near Second Avenue.
The driver of the involved vehicle, a 2013 blue Kia Forte, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities during the investigation.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene and called for air transport. A Reach helicopter landed at Desert Valley Hospital and subsequently transported the pedestrian to a trauma center.
