A man was fatally struck while walking in the roadway in Culver City on Monday afternoon, September 30, 2024.
According to the Culver City Police Department, officers were dispatched at 4:26 p.m. to National Boulevard and Wesley Street following reports of a traffic collision.
The initial investigation revealed that the pedestrian was struck while walking on National Boulevard. The Culver City Fire Department provided medical aid to the victim, who was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities reported that the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police do not believe impairment was a factor in the crash.
