[09-28-2024] One Killed After Two-Vehicle Head-On Collision in VictorvilleA man died after his car veered into opposing traffic lanes and collided head-on with an SUV in Victorville early Saturday morning, September 28, 2024.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred around 12:10 a.m. at the intersection of Green Tree Boulevard and Hesperia Road. 

Officials reported that a blue Toyota Corolla was traveling west on Green Tree Boulevard when it entered the eastbound lanes of traffic and crashed head-on into a white Chevrolet Silverado, which was traveling eastbound in its designated lane.

The driver of the Corolla, identified as 33-year-old Arturo C. of Adelanto, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries.

No information regarding the condition of the SUV driver was available at the time of the report. Authorities shut down Green Tree Boulevard for several hours to conduct an investigation into the incident.
