[09-26-2026] Riverside County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Cranford Ave. and West Linden St.

A 59-year-old motorcyclist identified as Steven P. was killed in a hit-and-run collision in Riverside early Saturday morning, September 26, 2026.

According to the Riverside Police Department, the crash occurred at around 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Cranford Avenue and West Linden Street.

The Major Accident Investigation Team said the rider was traveling westbound on Linden Street at an unconfirmed speed when a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction veered into his motorcycle, resulting in a collision.

Police were continuing efforts to identify the driver and vehicle involved. Investigators had not released a description of the vehicle.

No arrest had been made as of Friday, according to Riverside police.

The hit-and-run collision remains under investigation.
