[09-25-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in Downtown LA

One person was injured after a two-vehicle collision on the transition road from the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway to the Harbor (110) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles on Friday morning, September 25, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 12:59 a.m. and involved a Ford Mustang and a Ford F-150 pickup truck.

CHP said the injured person was transported to a hospital following the collision. The crash also damaged attenuator sand barrels near the roadway divider, causing sand to spill onto the roadway.

The transition road was closed while crews cleared the collision scene and removed the sand. A SigAlert was issued during the cleanup.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
