A male pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Chico early Wednesday morning, September 25, 2024.
According to the Chico Police Department, the crash occurred on W. 1st Street near Walnut Street around 2:15 a.m.
A witness reported that a grey pickup hit the victim in the parking lot outside the Oasis Bar and then fled the scene.
The victim was transported to the hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. Police are actively searching for the driver involved in the incident.
