[09-22-2026] Sacramento County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle on Highway 50

A male pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on westbound Highway 50 in Sacramento on Tuesday night, September 22, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at around 10:00 p.m. near the 10th Street off-ramp.

CHP said an unknown male pedestrian was struck on the freeway. Authorities had not immediately confirmed whether the vehicle involved remained at the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing.
