[09-22-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Two Injured in Sedan and Tractor-Trailer Crash in West Rancho Dominguez

Two people sustained injuries after a sedan collided with a tractor-trailer in West Rancho Dominguez, Los Angeles County, early Tuesday morning, September 22, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at around 12:33 a.m. near the intersection of El Segundo Boulevard and San Pedro Street.

CHP said a white Hyundai sedan collided with a tractor-trailer and became wedged underneath it.

Two people were transported to a hospital with injuries, including the driver of the sedan and another person. Authorities did not clarify whether the second injured person had been traveling in the sedan or the tractor-trailer. The conditions of the two were not immediately available.

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and worked to free the sedan from underneath the tractor-trailer. 

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
