A man was killed while attempting to cross Clovis Avenue near Inyo Street in Fresno on Monday afternoon, September 22, 2025.
According to police, the crash occurred around 5:10 p.m. Dispatchers received a call reporting the incident, and officers found a witness performing CPR on the victim.
Despite their efforts, the man did not survive. Police noted that he was not using the crosswalk at the time of the collision.
The intersection of Clovis Avenue and Tulare Avenue was closed until at least 7:15 p.m. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
