[09-18-2026] Tulare County, CA – 85-Year-Old Man Killed in Collision Involving Semi-Truck Near Exeter

An 85-year-old man was killed in a collision involving an SUV and a semi-truck north of Exeter in Tulare County on Friday afternoon, September 18, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on Highway 65 near Marinette Avenue.

CHP said the man’s SUV stopped at a stop sign before, for an unknown reason, rolling into the intersection, where it was struck by the semi-truck.

The 85-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities did not immediately release his identity.

The driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the collision.

The investigation remains ongoing.
