A 69-year-old Apple Valley man suffered major injuries in a collision involving his motorcycle and a pickup truck in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, on Monday afternoon, September 14, 2026.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Apple Valley Police Department, deputies and Apple Valley Fire Protection District personnel responded at around 4:56 p.m. to Marigold Street and Apple Valley Road.
A preliminary investigation determined that a 22-year-old Adelanto man was driving a 2006 Ford F-150 with a Carson trailer attached southbound on Apple Valley Road. A 2019 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling northbound and approaching the same intersection.
Authorities said the Ford made a left turn in front of the motorcycle, resulting in a collision.
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
The investigation remains ongoing.
