[09-14-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – E-Bike Rider Killed After Crash With Vehicle in El Monte

A man riding an e-bike was killed after being struck by a vehicle in an El Monte traffic accident on Monday night, September 14, 2026.

According to the El Monte Police Department, officers responded at around 10:45 p.m. to the 4100 block of Richwood Avenue, near Bryant Road.

Paramedics provided medical aid to the e-bike rider, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released his identity.

Police said the driver of the vehicle involved in the collision stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The incident remains under investigation.
