Two people were seriously injured after being thrown from a motorcycle in a collision with a Honda Pilot near Ramona in San Diego County, on Sunday afternoon, September 14, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 4:50 p.m. at the intersection of Rockhouse Road and Highway 67.
The Honda Pilot, driven by a 54-year-old man from Poway, reportedly entered the northbound lane of Highway 67 from Rockhouse Road and stopped directly in front of the motorcycle.
The 48-year-old male rider from Ramona and his 41-year-old female passenger were both thrown from the motorcycle and sustained major injuries. Both were wearing helmets.
The SUV driver and his 12-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. CHP reported that drugs and alcohol do not appear to have been factors in the collision, which remains under investigation.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
