A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision with a car in Fremont on Thursday night, September 12, 2024.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:10 p.m. at the intersection of Mowry Avenue and Crosspointe Common.
According to Fremont Police, the car was traveling east on Mowry Avenue and was preparing to make a left turn onto Crosspointe Common when the motorcyclist, traveling west on Mowry Avenue, collided with the front of the car. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Preliminary findings indicate that drug or alcohol impairment does not appear to be a factor in the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
