[09-08-2026] San Diego County, CA – 31-Year-Old Bicyclist Killed in Crash With Vehicle in Oceanside

A 31-year-old bicyclist, identified as Christian F., died after being struck by a vehicle in Oceanside on Tuesday evening, September 8, 2026.

According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, the collision occurred around 7:45 p.m. on Mission Avenue near Ocean Point Road.

The cyclist was riding a bicycle on Mission Avenue when he was struck by a car. Paramedics transported the victim to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for treatment.

Despite medical efforts, the cyclist died from his injuries early Wednesday, September 9.
