[09-08-2024] Orange County, CA – Two Killed After Collision with Amazon Van in Huntington Beach

A man and a woman were killed in a collision with a cargo van on Sunday morning, September 8, 2024, in Huntington Beach.

According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, the crash occurred at about 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Bolsa Avenue and Graham Street.

Investigations revealed that a gray Freightliner cargo truck traveling eastbound on Bolsa Avenue with a green light entered the intersection and collided with a tan Toyota Sienna traveling southbound on Graham Street.

The Sienna’s driver, a 61-year-old man from Garden Grove, and his adult female passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene. It is also unknown if the Sienna driver was impaired.

The 39-year-old driver of the Freightliner, from Fountain Valley, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital.
