[09-07-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Big Rig Driver Injured in Rollover Crash in Claremont

A big rig driver was injured after the truck overturned across the center divider of the Foothill (210) Freeway in Claremont early Monday morning, September 7, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the rollover was reported around 12:44 a.m. on the eastbound 210 Freeway just west of Baseline Road.

CHP reported that the truck and trailer came to rest across the center divider, blocking both lanes. The tractor was on the westbound side and leaking diesel fuel into the HOV lane, with some fuel seeping beneath the center divider.

A black sedan was also reported to have been overturned on the eastbound freeway. Authorities did not immediately determine what role, if any, the sedan had in the incident.

The big rig driver was transported to a hospital for treatment. The CHP continues to investigate the crash.
