A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle south of Palermo, Butte County, on Monday night, September 7, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Palermo Honcut Highway at Ahart Road.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity. Information about the involved driver and vehicle was also unavailable.
The CHP continues to investigate the fatal incident.
