A two-vehicle crash temporarily blocked lanes on South Mission Road just north of Green Canyon Road in San Diego County on Saturday afternoon, September 6, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at 1:27 p.m. and involved a Toyota RAV4 and a Nissan sports car. Both vehicles were blocking lanes following the impact. An Apple Watch crash notification also alerted dispatchers to the incident.
Emergency crews responded, and medics were en route. All lanes were reported open as of 2:30 p.m. Authorities have not released details regarding injuries.
CHP continues to investigate the incident.
