At least one person sustained minor injuries in a three-vehicle collision on East Mission Road near Avo Drive in San Diego County, early Saturday morning, September 6, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred in the westbound lanes and involved a white SUV, a gray SUV, and a smaller blue sedan.
Airbags deployed in at least two of the vehicles. CHP dispatchers reported that while both parties initially appeared uninjured, at least one occupant sustained an injury but declined medical treatment.
All westbound lanes were temporarily blocked while tow trucks arrived to clear the scene. At least one vehicle required towing, and traffic was backed up in the area until the roadway was reopened.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
