A driver was sent to the hospital after he crashed into the back of a big rig in southeast Fresno on early Tuesday morning, September 3, 2024.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. when a man driving a Chrysler 300 was heading southbound on Clovis Avenue.
The driver collided with the back of the big rig while attempting to turn onto eastbound Highway 180. The man was transported to a local hospital, and his condition is currently unknown. The driver of the big rig was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
