A man sustained major injuries after being hit by a car in the Thermalito area near Oroville, Butte County, on Monday evening, September 2, 2024.
The crash was reported around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Grand Avenue and 18th Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was struck by a sedan.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, and no further details are immediately available.
