Multiple people were injured when a two-car collision sent one vehicle into a home on Lafayette Avenue near Cedar Boulevard in Newark on Sunday night, August 31, 2025.
According to local authorities, the crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. Video from the scene showed one vehicle had collided with the front of a home while the other vehicle caught fire. Firefighters and emergency medical personnel responded quickly to the scene.
