Four people, including two Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies, were hospitalized after a head-on collision in South Los Angeles late Friday night, August 30, 2024.
According to a spokesperson for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred around 11:15 p.m. in the 9400 block of Normandie Avenue.
Authorities stated that the deputies were on patrol when the two-vehicle collision happened. The two deputies and two civilians involved in the crash were transported to hospitals, where all were listed in stable condition.
The cause of the incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Department and the California Highway Patrol.
