A 30-year-old motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries after crashing into a pickup truck at the intersection of Murrieta and Farmington Roads in Menifee on Thursday evening, August 29, 2024.
According to the Menifee Police Department, the crash occurred around 6:50 p.m. when the motorcyclist, Daniel G., was traveling northbound on Murrieta Road and collided with a Dodge Ram that was turning east onto Farmington Road.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene despite resuscitation efforts by good Samaritans and Riverside County Fire Department paramedics.
The driver of the pickup truck was unharmed and remained at the scene for questioning. Police do not suspect alcohol or drugs to be factors in the crash, but the investigation is ongoing.
