[08-28-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Three-Vehicle Hit-and-Run Crash in Pomona

A driver remained at large following a three-vehicle hit-and-run crash in Pomona on Friday evening, August 28, 2026.

According to the Pomona Police Department, the collision was reported around 7:48 p.m. near San Antonio and Lincoln avenues.

Police said the driver struck other vehicles before abandoning their vehicle at the scene and fleeing on foot. Officers deployed a police K-9 to search for the driver, but were unable to locate them.

The collision also caused one of the vehicles to strike a fire hydrant and damage a Verizon pole.

No one was transported to a hospital following the crash, although people involved were treated at the scene. Police did not release a description of the driver or additional information about what led to the collision.

The authorities continue to investigate the hit-and-run crash.
