A motorcyclist sustained injuries after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Sherman Heights, San Diego, on Tuesday evening, August 27, 2024.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. in the 2400 block of Imperial Avenue.
A 36-year-old man was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound when an unidentified driver, exiting a driveway, collided with him and fled the scene.
The motorcyclist suffered a dislocated femur and multiple open fractures to his left tibia and fibula. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and has not been located. The SDPD is handling the ongoing investigation.
