Two girls riding scooters suffered significant injuries in a hit-and-run collision at Joiner Park in Lincoln on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
According to the Lincoln Police Department, officers were dispatched to the park after receiving a report of the incident.
Responding officers found two minors with significant injuries requiring medical attention. Additional information about their conditions was not immediately available.
