[08-26-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle in Rowland Heights

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle near an intersection in Rowland Heights, Los Angeles County, on Wednesday afternoon, August 26, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 4:39 p.m. CHP officers responded to the scene and cordoned off the area while investigating the crash.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or other identifying information.

A white Tesla was stopped at the site. However, CHP officials said it was not immediately clear whether the Tesla was the vehicle that struck the pedestrian.
