An 83-year-old woman from Palo Alto died two days after being hit by a vehicle in a Mountain View parking lot on Saturday afternoon, August 23, 2025.
According to the Mountain View Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 3:25 p.m. in the private lot at 600 Showers Drive. Officers and city fire personnel found the pedestrian conscious at the scene and transported her to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to have been factors in the collision. The victim’s name has not been released.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
