A woman was killed and another driver was injured following a two-vehicle crash near Lemoore on Sunday morning, August 17, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of 16th Avenue and Lacey Boulevard.
Investigators said a 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz was traveling westbound on Lacey Boulevard when a 2024 Ford Mustang traveling southbound on 16th Avenue failed to yield and entered the intersection, directly into the Hyundai’s path.
The front of the Hyundai struck the driver’s side of the Ford in a broadside crash, causing the Ford to leave the roadway and crash into an orchard.
The driver of the Ford was transported to Adventist Medical Center, where she later died. The driver of the Hyundai sustained minor injuries and was also transported to Adventist Medical Center.
The crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
