A motorcyclist was critically injured in a three-vehicle crash in Orcutt, Santa Barbara County, on Saturday morning, August 16, 2025.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the incident occurred around 10:15 a.m. at the intersection of Orcutt Road and Shirley Lane.
Authorities said the crash involved a utility truck, a sedan, and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist sustained major injuries, and emergency crews performed CPR before the patient was transported by ambulance to Marian Regional Medical Center. No other injuries were reported.
Responding agencies included the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol, and the Santa Maria Fire Department.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
