A 29-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle after a hit-and-run crash in North Hollywood, Los Angeles on Friday evening, August 16, 2024.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Beck Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene and found the woman lying in the street. She was transported to a hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver, described as a man who is bald or has very short hair, abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. He was last seen running on Victory Boulevard near Troost Avenue.
