A 30-year-old male bicyclist was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash in Fresno on Thursday night, August 15, 2024.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Cesar Chavez Boulevard and Peach Avenue.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the bicyclist traveling eastbound on Cesar Chavez Boulevard was struck by a vehicle that turned in front of him. The vehicle then fled the scene.
A concerned citizen followed the fleeing vehicle and provided its location to the officers. While the suspect’s vehicle was located, the suspect remains at large.
The bicyclist complained of pain in his hip and was transported to the hospital, where he is in stable condition.
