A vehicle careened off a 50-foot cliff and crashed at the Crystal Cove Historical District causing minor injuries to occupants in Newport Beach on Saturday evening, August 10, 2024.
According to the Newport Beach Police Department, the accident occurred late in the evening on Pacific Coast Highway.
Newport Beach firefighters responded swiftly, executing a complex over-the-cliff rescue to save the vehicle’s occupants.
