[08-08-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – E-Bike Rider Critically Injured in Crash With Pickup Truck in Hesperia

An e-bike rider suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a pickup truck in Hesperia on Saturday morning, August 8, 2026.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the collision was reported around 7:14 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Tamarisk Avenue. 

Emergency personnel responded and found the male rider down in the roadway with critical injuries.

The rider was transported by ambulance to Desert Valley Hospital for treatment. Firefighters also requested a medical helicopter because of the severity of his injuries, although authorities did not confirm whether he was subsequently airlifted to a trauma center.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
