A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in Fairfield on Tuesday evening, August 5, 2025.
According to the Fairfield Police Department, the incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. near the intersection of Travis Boulevard and Phoenix Avenue.
Officers arrived and found the victim with a serious head injury. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Police said witnesses were able to provide a description and license plate of the suspect vehicle. Officers later went to the suspected driver’s residence and arrested 21-year-old Kaleb P. without incident.
The incident remains under investigation.
