A crash on southbound Interstate 5 near Gorman, Kern County has caused significant traffic delays, with three lanes closed on Tuesday Afternoon, August 5, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 1:30 p.m. near Highway 138. A semi-truck was found facing sideways, blocking the right lane. Another vehicle reportedly tried to avoid debris and collided with the center divider.
