A motorcyclist was hospitalized following a near-deadly crash in Calwa, Fresno County, on Tuesday afternoon, August 5, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Jensen Avenue and Pullman Street.
The motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Jensen Avenue when a Toyota, traveling eastbound, made a left turn at Pullman Street directly in front of the motorcyclist, resulting in a collision.
The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and protective gear, a decision that CHP officials believe likely saved his life. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
