[08-04-2025] Man Arrested For Hit-And-Run and DUI Crash with Toddler in AnaheimA 23-year-old man has been charged with multiple offenses after a DUI and hit-and-run crash in Anaheim on Monday evening, August 4, 2025.

According to Anaheim police, Mario O. crashed his Honda Accord into several parked cars near Anaheim Boulevard and South Street around 6:00 p.m. Mario fled the scene, but witnesses followed him, and police apprehended him a short distance away.

Mario had a toddler, who is set to turn 2 in October, in the back seat of the car. The child sustained minor injuries but was released to his mother without requiring hospitalization.

Mario faces felony charges of child abuse and endangerment, along with misdemeanor counts of DUI, hit-and-run with property damage, and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or more. He pleaded not guilty to the charges on Wednesday and is scheduled for a pretrial hearing on August 14, 2025.

Authorities reported Mario’s blood alcohol content was measured at .20, well above the legal limit of .08.
