One person was killed, and four others were injured following a traffic collision in Compton on Saturday evening, August 3, 2024.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened after 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of S. Bentley Avenue and E. Greenleaf Boulevard.
Authorities responded to the scene after reports of a major traffic collision. The total number of vehicles and people involved remains unclear. Details on how the crash occurred were not immediately disclosed.
Upon arrival, the responding officers found one man dead and four other people injured after the crash. The injured victims were transported to hospitals for further treatment, but their conditions were not released. None of the involved parties were identified by the police.
