[08-02-2026] San Joaquin County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Big Rig Near Port of Stockton

A 62-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a big rig in Stockton on Sunday afternoon, August 2, 2026.

According to the Stockton Police Department, the collision occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Harbor Street and South Los Angeles Avenue, close to the Port of Stockton. 

Officers arrived to find the motorcyclist with critical injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.

The driver of the big rig remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. 

The Stockton Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
