A 20-year-old man died in a tragic e-bike accident in Huntington Beach on Saturday, August 2, 2025.
According to Huntington Beach police, the crash occurred just after 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Seapoint Street.
An unidentified 20-year-old man from Huntington Beach was driving a Toyota Tacoma southbound on Pacific Coast Highway, with Kolby A., also 20, hanging onto the e-bike attached to the truck.
When the driver of the Tacoma lost control, the truck and the e-bike collided. Kolby was injured in the crash and was later pronounced dead.
The incident remains under investigation. Authorities have not yet released additional details about the driver of the Toyota Tacoma.
