![[07-31-2025] Two Seriously Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash on 15 Freeway Near Bell Mountain in Apple Valley](https://ak1.to//qjCO.webp)
Two people were hospitalized with major injuries after a single-vehicle crash in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, on Thursday afternoon, July 31, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 2:23 p.m. on the southbound 15 Freeway just north of Exit 157, near the Bell Mountain offramp.
A 2007 Honda Accord with Colorado license plates veered off the right shoulder and collided with a roadside wall.
Emergency responders arrived to find the vehicle with severe front-end and passenger-side damage. The right front passenger was reportedly trapped and later extricated from the vehicle. Both occupants were transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries.
The vehicle came to rest against an embankment near a metal guardrail. A tow truck removed the extensively damaged Honda from the scene.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
