[07-30-2026] San Luis Obispo County, CA – Two Injured After Vehicle Crashes Into Building in Pismo Beach

Two people were injured after a vehicle crashed into a building in Pismo Beach on Thursday afternoon, July 30, 2026.

According to emergency responders, the crash occurred around 1:12 p.m. at DePalo and Sons market and deli in the Spyglass Village complex at 2665 Shell Beach Road in the Shell Beach area.

Authorities said a single vehicle crashed into the front of the building, causing significant damage to a window and part of the structure’s facade. Firefighters responded to the scene and confirmed the building remained standing following the collision.

Two people sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. The Pismo Beach Police Department later reported that drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the collision.

The investigation remains ongoing.
