[07-30-2026] San Joaquin County, CA – Man Killed in Suspected Hit-and-Run Crash in Stockton

A man was killed in a suspected hit-and-run crash in Stockton on Thursday morning, July 30, 2026.

According to the Stockton Police Department, officers responded at around 7 a.m. to the area of East Martin Luther King Boulevard and South B Street after receiving a report of a person lying on the side of the roadway. 

Emergency medical personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene. Preliminary findings indicate the victim was struck by a passing vehicle whose driver left the scene without stopping. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity.

Investigators have not released a description of the vehicle believed to be involved in the collision.

The investigation is ongoing.
