One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Wasco on Tuesday morning, July 29, 2025.
According to the Wasco Police Department, the collision occurred around 11:22 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 43 and 10th Street.
Officers and emergency personnel responded and attempted life-saving measures at the scene.
One of the drivers was pronounced deceased shortly after. The individual’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and will be released by the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
