[07-27-2026] Riverside County, CA – Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Coachella

Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Coachella on Monday evening, July 27, 2026.

According to local authorities, the collision was reported just before 6:20 p.m. at the intersection of Van Buren Street and Avenue 53. Police said three vehicles were involved in the crash.

One person sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a regional trauma center for treatment. A second person suffered minor injuries, while a third sustained moderate injuries. All injured parties received medical care following the crash.

Officials have not released details regarding what led up to the collision.  The investigation is ongoing.
