Six people, including children, were hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision in Rio Linda, Sacramento County, on Saturday evening, July 27, 2024.
According to the Sacramento Metro Fire, the crash happened at about 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of 28th Street and Q Street.
How the two vehicles crashed into each other remains unclear, but authorities confirmed that it resulted in multiple injuries. Two adults and four children, all under the age of five, were hospitalized following the incident.
One of the adults was reportedly in critical condition, while the four children were all taken to be examined for any potential injuries. None of the six patients were identified yet.
No additional information was immediately available, and the authorities are still gathering all the necessary details to determine the factors leading up to the crash.
